The Great Days Leadership Academy will focus on preparing youth to be self-sufficient at home and in their community. We want our leaders to thrive and have the confidence to be on their own when the time comes. Home Economics is how to do this. In the past, Home Economics was well known for preparing women for cooking and housework. In 2021, The Great Days Leadership Academy is giving this subject a very fun twist by offering courses on cooking, nutrition, personal finance, and tips to keep living spaces tidy.

Fun Fact: Dorothy Brice, the mother of our organization’s Founder taught Home Economics for years. Given so, we are excited to bring this subject back in a way that is fun and exciting!
